Season of Change

With the weather changing and people staying inside more I am trying to get better at blogging.  So here goes...

Lets see we have moved the shop since I last blogged and it has been a huge adjustment.  Lots of new fabric to choose from.  We went from 648 square feet to 2700 square feet.  I have a lovely sitting area for you to come visit or bring hand sewing to work on in the shop.

We are still continuing with the Farmers Wife Sew Along.  We have made lots of blocks :)  I am already planning for the upcoming year.  I will be having another Sew Along with the new Farmers Wife Book 1930s.  As you know the first book has 111 blocks and there is no way we will have them finished by the end of the year so we will be continuing the Sew Along for the first book in 2016.  I am still finalizing the dates.

I have many interested in beginning quilting classes so I will have a sample done this month and have chosen a nice book that teaches a lot of techniques.  I will be starting that January 12, 2016.  For further information please come in the shop.

January 15th I will be hosting a Featherweight Class on learning your machine.  For further details check out the class page on my website or give me a call.

I am going to do my best to blog once a month about anything I think you might want to know :) Enjoy!!
